A Weddington native, he returned home in 2023 after nearly 15 years across the Southeast to serve the community that raised him. That commitment ultimately became the foundation for the patient-centered, concierge-style model of care at Thrive. Dr. Hunt was first introduced to chiropractic care at an early age through sports performance and injury prevention. His appreciation for the human body and the recovery process was shaped by a career-ending shoulder injury during his time as a collegiate baseball player. This experience clarified his commitment to restorative healing, recovery, and long-term resilience. His personal journey continues to shape his clinical focus today, especially for patients who have been told surgery is their only option or who feel they have run out of answers.
